UK two-piece Meadowlark has been hard at work this past year. They dropped off their debut EP, Three Six Five, back in April, and now they're gearing up for the release of their next project in late March. However, before doing so, they've decided to build some anticipation by giving a little taste of what's to come, and in so doing, they've shared a visual form of their superb new single, "Eyes Wide". Meadowlark officially released "Eyes Wide" a few weeks ago, but if you haven't heard the track yet, right now is the perfect time to give it a listen, because the video that goes along with it is quite an excellent accompaniment. Directed by Daniel Broadley (1/2 of Meadowlark), the symbolic video depicts the struggle and transformation of a "bird", which may or may not reference the band's name. Meadowlark's female vocalist, Kate McGill, also appears in the video, and her passionate singing narrates the scenes beautifully. Meadowlark's sophomore EP, Dual (which features production from Oh Wonder's Ant West), is set for release March 30, but you can pre-order it on iTunes today.
