It's approaching 3 AM in my particular area of the world, and I have work in the morning, so I should be sound asleep by now. I am not, of course, and that's due entirely to the fact that I happened serendipitously upon this "Metro Lobby" instrumental by Finnish producer Md$ a short while ago. The dreamy soundscape of a track clocks in at a modest two-and-three-quarters minutes, and manages to pack an ethereal punch in that time with crunchy percussion and blanketing synths that seem to breeze mistily about in the background. There's a slight hip-hop flair attached to the ambiance as well, and the amalgamation of the elements makes the instrumental perfect for midnight vibing.
