For many years now, MayaVanya has been patiently perfecting their craft behind the scenes, but to our great joy, the time has come for this sister production duo to finally step into the spotlight. The Kiwi-Croat combo that currently resides in Melbourne has worked within many different realms of electronic music like house, techno, and UK garage, but now, it appears they've developed a sound that's distinctly their own, and they're showcasing it for the very first time right here with spectacular new single "Diving Board". The minimalist piece primarily makes use of misty synths and skillfully structured percussion, and even though there isn't an abundance of layers here, the sound that is present is astonishingly well varied and meticulous. To make this brilliant track complete, some haunting vocals from vocalist CHELSEA JADE (formerly WATERCOLOURS) are added into the mix as well. Get listening.
