It appears upon first glance that Mawhs is one of those producers that's kind of just making beats for fun, and not really pursuing the art with the purpose of getting rich or famous from it. Whether or not that's the case, though, we can respect the talent he has in his possession. We see with his recently released "Retrospect" instrumental that he's fully capable of crafting a unique and enticing soundscape, and though it's the first piece he's put out in several months, we're hopeful that there's more of the same kind of mellow electronic to come from him in the future.
