Tossing out comparisons these days is an easy thing to do, but, if accurate, they can serve as both a tool of praise, and an indicator of a certain sound as well. With MATUSA, a new duo from Australia, there's really no escaping what Majid Jordan comparisons we hear, and if you're fan of the OVO-signed act (or the unique R&B they create), this is not a bad thing at all. Clae (vocals) and Yore (production) have only two tracks to their name, and both are worth sharing here. The production that we find on both "Mend" and "TLC" is some of the most vibe-y we've heard all year, and, when combined with the utterly sultry vocals we hear, we've one pretty lethal product overall.
