We've been a fan of UK-based act Matt Woods since coming across single "In The Dark" a couple years back, and we've posted every single song he's came out with since, which is quite rare for us. This just goes to prove that his wavy blend of electronic-pop is truly impressive to indulge in, though—a sentiment that could be said again about the single he's dropping today, "Nothing Less". Articulate, soul-drenched, and lush, Wood's vocals are incredibly satisfying to listen to here. Additionally, the falsetto layered within the track enables it to radiate a decadent, emotional, almost euphoric vibe. Its tropical production may seem to clash with the vocals, but its sound (especially in the rhythmic synths) is unique and groovy, thus contributing a solid base for the track to really shine. The track is most definitely a summer jam, but as many of us approach fall and winter months, the cut is bound to bring back the sunny memories we all long to have.
