Matt Woods has seen his first three releases steadily grow in popularity these last couple of months, and so to keep the momentum up, he’s put out a new single titled “Blue Skies”. Once again, his silky voice and ballad-esque production work put him up for comparison with some of the most successful artists in the world right now, but when you stack his music up back to back with the likes of Sam Smith and James Arthur, it’s obvious Matt has what it takes to be a major contender. “Blue Skies” is more of that same signature Matt Woods sonic goodness, and it’s yet another strong addition to his arsenal of epic future-soul slow-jams. Usually more of the same would imply some sort of letdown, but seeing as how this is only his fourth song, we’re still very much excited about what he currently has to offer, and would rather he wait a little longer before he starts developing into something else.
