We gather that Mating Ritual's music comes from a place of pure creativity rather than through mere external influences. We heard this on standout tracks "Game" and "Toxins" of his from last year, and now with "Hum Hum", his newest track, the Los Angeles artist's songwriting is once again at a level that really has no comparisons. That's always a refreshing asset to be had for any musician's music, and "Hum Hum" definitely has that contained and controlled artistic chaos to it that an artist like Mating Ritual is so able to express.
