Back when the original "Crooklyn Dodgers" dropped I was only 11 years old and was definitely not into hip-hop. Needless to say, everybody should still know about this track because it's a classic record. * I grew up in the middle of BC, Canada, so please give me a pass here... Whether you were old enough to experience the golden era of hip-hop back in the early nineties it really doesn't matter here because the Toronto beat-maker, Memorecks, has resurrected this classic in an absolutely stunning fashion. No matter how old you are, you're going to love this. Memorecks absolutely kills this remix through his ways of cutting in various vocal bits, incorporating a super fresh bell sample & eventually topping everything off with an arpeggiating synth that drops during Masta Ace's verse in a timely fashion.
