There have been several new acts in the last year we've fallen instantly in love with, and mAsis, a trio from Glendale, California, is definitely one we hold dear (if you haven't yet heard their debut EP, Kennesaw, we recommend that you check it out now). On their aforementioned debut was an absolutely gorgeous sound—one led by softly spoken male and female vocals and purposeful, playful, kaleidoscopic production—and it was truly, truly breathtaking and great. That was several months ago, however, and, ever since, we've been itching for more new material from them. Today, we receive it. With brand-new track "Virginia Wolf", mAsis is showing us that they've not only improved upon their magnificent sound, but that they're ready to gain proper momentum as far as new fans are concerned as well. It's pretty criminal that their tracks out already haven't gained any more plays than they have, but we'd like to think that with this new one here out in the light, they'll all see the shine they undeniably deserve.
