Masasolo is a brand-new three-piece Danish act, and with this first track, "Really Thought She Loved Me", there's going to be no escaping comparisons to Tame Impala here. For one starting out, however, this is not such a bad thing. Although Masasolo is a new project, the artists behind are not. The band is fronted by songwriter Morten Søgaard, but with Jacob Haubjerg of Sleep Party People and the drummer Olaf Olsen from Norwegian rock band BigBang, they've some artistic experience behind them all. As their debut track shows, the trio is one fans of laid-back psychedelic are going to want to pay attention to ahead.
