We've come across Californian artist Marz Léon before, but it's with her latest release, "LEVITATION", that we've felt compelled enough to pen a piece about her and her sound. That's no knock against her or her former works at all, though; she demonstrated immense promise with past EP, L O N E R, but with the former effort now hitting our ears—and such mature, spiritually gripping and sonically pleasing shades in it—we could not possibly resist a post, so here one is. "LEVITATION" marks a definitive new chapter in Léon's artistic progression, and as we hinted at above, it's one that's just dazzling on all internal and external fronts. It's simultaneously soft and pleasurable and fanciful, the track is, and with what delicate electronic waves wash over her relaxed voice, we're really thrust into a mist of bliss that we don't intend on ever escaping from. That's really the power that the track holds, and hopefully Marz decides to wield it repeatedly on whatever future work the effort rests itself on.
