Maryann Vasquez doesn't have a big following yet, but her music is gonna make sure it doesn't stay that way for long. Her sound is huge, and about as refined, and polished, as anybody else out there right now. What really makes her two newest tracks ("Turn You Down," and "Priscilla's Song") so special though, is her clever incorporation of some of the indie-electronic production work thats getting everybody so excited these days. The deep bass lines in the background, and booming drum hits that punctuate both tracks on occasion give her music a sense of gravity that will pull you in right away, and keep you there right up 'till the track ends. There's no word on what she has planned as a follow up for these two tracks, but stay tuned, because chances are you'll be seeing a lot of her soon.
