Marvin Gaye may have one of the most remixed voices to date, but somehow, producers from distinct sects of music manage to rehash his work and give it a pristine feel. One such producer is Laquell, who's taken on Gaye's famous "Sexual Healing" and given it his own incredible chillwave tint. We've little information about the talented interpreter, but that's no first, and, as we often like to echo, its the sonic elements we're most concerned about. Laquell's remix here includes bursting chord progressions and meticulous vocal chops, and while Gaye's vocals aren't meddled with too terribly much, Laquell does a fine job weaving in what samples of the original work he does determine to use.
