There are several parts of the world we're unable to look into with music as a lens, and Venezuela is one such part. It's not like Australia or England where we're privy to peeking into the culture every hour of the day. No, Venezuela is still hidden in that regard, at least, in the widespread, musically appealing sense, but there is a chance that may change just a bit with Marti Ann, an up-and-coming duo from Caracas, the capital city of the aforementioned nation. The men behind the moniker, Elio and Nico, have crafted a very unique, very intriguing brand of R&B to share on what track of theirs we've come across, "Orange Spray", the first released track from their forthcoming First EP. It's a decidedly futuristic flavor throughout, with plenty of synths and keys and guitar to go around, and the vocal melodies are exceptionally engaging, too. It's got to be as accessible as Venezuelan music gets in today's hyper-trendy market of sound, and we have reason to believe that with First, Marti Ann may be able to break borders with their evocative sonic style.
