Nashville resident and beat maestro Super Duper has been concocting soothing electronic for over three years now, and it's quite apparent he only seems to be further polishing his sonic artistry, as his latest revamp of neighboring vocalist Marish Mae's "Liar" clearly portrays. The Tennessean's past work consists of a fine mix of originals and remixes, and while they're mostly chillwave-oriented, he's also found a way to craftily variate tempos and alternate the energies of his tracks. Mae is relatively unknown at this point, but her effortless, immersive delivery on the original is paid due respects by Super, as he lets her verses glide through a vocal-chopped, jubilant intro. The drop is when the former's skills kick in, as a salvo of sonic inclusions implode alongside heavy-hitting drums, creating a more than vivacious electronic setting. With yet another impressive showing, Super Duper is without a doubt seeing his musical stock climb at the moment, and we're only expecting him to gain momentum with following efforts to come.
