This year, London's Marina and The Diamonds released her third full-length album, FROOT, and one of our favorite songs from the project was the perfectly poppy track, "Blue". Today, we're getting the privilege of listening to it once again, but in a totally revamped fashion courtesy of brand-new electronic duo MAIZE. For their first official release ever, they've decided to remix Marina's previously mentioned track, and the result of their efforts is a shimmering, euphoric piece of dance-worthy pop. MAIZE consists of songwriter-producer Tim Metcalfe and D&B DJ and composer Piers Baron, and by making use of energizing synths, rapid piano chords, clean vocal chops, and an upbeat drum kit, they've done quite an outstanding job of adding new life to the excellent original piece. MAIZE's debut single, which we're now highly anticipating, will be arriving sometime this fall, so make sure you keep on the lookout for that.
