If you've a taste for electronic music that never falls into that "this sounds like so-and-so" category, the music from London-based production duo Maribou State is some you need to know. If, then, you've yet to familiarize yourself with their expansive brand of electronic, take a listen to Portraits, their ten-track debut album that's now streaming in full over on The Hype Machine. Readers of HD will know of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory (Maribou State) from the many times we've covered them over the years, but with their debut here, it's pretty obvious that this is their best work to date.
