We didn't think there was anyone in music touching the level that Sam Smith's voice sits on until we heard this new singer, Mar, from Holland this morning. Sure, Mar is not overtaking Sam in terms of having a definitively remarkable sound, but he sure does come damn close, and our first introduction to him this morning comes by way of his new single, "Man X Woman", that showcases his flawless vocal prose & pop-sensible product. "Man X Woman" is the full package; it has sounds from house, soul, r&b, and even UK garage. If there ever was a song to intro you to Mar, "Man X Woman" is the best start possible. Look for the track to be featured on Mar's upcoming EP, Form. There is no definitive release date on it yet, but we're looking forward to it nonetheless.
