The original mix of Mapei's "Don't Wait" was a hit here on hillydilly (and for the majority of the internet, for that matter), so when the official Kingdom remix went live it was bound to grab some attention. The track follows some major trends in indie music by embracing hip-hop style production techniques and utilitarian beat delivery, but it's still fresh enough to put a smile on your face. Kingdom has sniffed out the hardest-hitting parts in the original song, cranked them up to eleven, and then got rid of everything else. It's a good strategy, and one that makes you realize how much remix potential the original had. Mapei chose well when she gave kingdom permission to work his magic.
