Montreal-based electronic artist Robotaki has been on our radar for a few years now (and, just recently, on our pages HERE), so it's quite exciting to have him back with a rework of one of our favorite acts, Mansionair, as "Speak Easy" receives a scintillating rework. Preston Chin (Robotaki) is quite meticulous when taking on the lead vocalist's verses here, and he injects a hat-heavy instrumental to accompany the song's pleasantly downcast tones. The hooks are where Chin shines, though, as he employs buoyant stabs and tinny synths to give rise to a head-nodder of a repurposed track.
