There's a certain sound in Manotett's new single, "Faces", that finds its solace in Danrell's remix—one that's inclusive of soulful and upbeat vibes that raise the effort to a level that's more than impressive. We're introduced to the whistles of the remix early on, and it's safe to say that the totality of the sounds contained in the track foster a pleasurable aura, with the employment of raspy percussion and trilling guitar sections that give a light, certainly unique sound. Manotett kicked off their sonic career last year with "Felt Like You," a similarly eclectic electro-pop effort that picked up remixes from a number of prominent artists, and here with Danrell's take on on their latest effort, we've still an accurate depiction of the success their upcoming EP is bound to have—especially given the quality to which their tracks can be reworked. The overall ease at which "Faces" flows is great, and it's safe to say that the rest of the music they'll release in this EP of theirs will be sure to round up its much-deserved attention. After all, with their championed genre of music on the rise, Manotett has found the ideal moment to ride the electro-pop scene, and what better way to do it than with an emanating atmosphere for "Faces"?
