Although “Can You Hear Me Talking At You” may have slithered past us when it was released a couple weeks back, we’re beyond elated to have it in front of us now ahead of the release of the Australian indie-rock group's forthcoming EP. What MANOR does particularly well here is use reverb and layer vocals to create a sound to lay over the underlying grunge-guitar riffs that are also used. The track oscillates from instrumental to vocal sections with ease, too, rounding out a light, indie-rock-oriented effort that perks our ears for the EP that's to come.
