It's never fun to discover a band that you thought was new, to only find out they have already released an EP, from 8 months ago! That stressful thought that you're getting old and missing out on great music runs through your mind, its not fun. But it's ok, because you can fly under the radar with me today and play a quick game of catch up. Not only can you catch up on the Birmingham based duo's debut EP, Where The River Runs, but you can catch a glimpse of their brand new single, "Charlemagne". The song ("Charlemagne") finds itself caught in an identity crisis between folk & electronic influences that are patched together with skittering percussion & buttery lead vocals. One would assume the end result would be a 'unsure of itself' piece of music, but what leaves the scene is a confident product that seemingly was meant to throw you off the whole time. In the end it was all meant to be chaotically perfect. "Charlemagne" can be found on the band's upcoming EP, Promise, that will be released very soon. For now check out the track below and then go HERE to hear their debut EP.
