We've come to know London-based Maths Time Joy as a one of the stand-out producers when it comes to remixes, as he's touched up several artists' work admirably, and today, with his rework of Mahalia's "Back Up Plan" in tow, the notions are only bolstered further. The original is one that completely centres the UK-based vocals, and what MTJ has done here in terms of the backdrop is provide a bass-brewing, synth-heavy affair to hoist a more electronic-heavy atmosphere. The revamp marks another solid effort for the UK artist as he continues to rise amongst the hugely competetive electronic scene.
