Allow us to introduce you to Madeline, a brand-new, 19-year-old songstress from New Zealand who's demonstrating excellently how to properly debut. Covering another artist is a great way for a new artist to display creativity and talent while appealing to a wide audience (see WILDE's "Hanging Tree" for an amazing example of that), and Madeline has certainly accomplished both of these feats with her enchanting rendition of Spooky Black's (now "Corbin") hit track, "Without U". Madeline's song here features production from Rory Noble, and it's essentially the equivalent of a sonic cloud: dreamy and weightless. The track's instrumental components, such as subtle keys and gorgeous soundscapes, blend beautifully with Madeline's seductive vocals, and the result is one outstanding piece.
