Mack & Ryan Lewis have remarkably sold out 3 shows in Seattle all within 48 hours of releasing tickets. This all occurred within 2 weeks! The venue is the Showbox Theatre in downtown Seattle that has a capacity of 1200 persons!! Not only is this great news for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis but it shows the force behind good music and good people who support it. We the people have the power and who better to represent us musically than Mack & Ryan Lewis. That's some pump your fist in the air kind of shit right there! In light of this amazing achievement they have decided to release the first leak from their yet to be titled full length album that will be dropping this year. "Wings" is a song about Macklemore's youthful affection for Jordans and the misguided influences we receive. Mack shares another story that we all can relate to. Self-awareness makes for great song writing and "Wings" embodies another quality song that will deserve your attention.
