Today, he has released a statement directed to the American people, and it comes in the form of the new track, "Wednesday Morning". On it, Macklemore offers a reflective, nuanced political point of view and pleads with those disappointed with the election results to avoid complacency and continue the good fight against the obstruction of justice. Ironically, these ideas come in stark contrast to more beloved hip-hop artist Kanye West's rambling in concert last night, in which he reiterated his 2020 candidacy and announced his support for the United States' divisive President-elect.
