Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are paying homage to rap history with "Downtown", a new track of theirs that's featuring '80s rap legends Grandmaster Caz, Melle Mel, and Kool Moe Dee. We've always known the pair to pay their respects to those who've come before them, but featuring these legends on a new single of theirs—one that's likely to be pretty big—is pretty cool to see here. The track is definitely a lot more pop-friendly than "Growing Up" (that's their latest one before this), and with its '80s-rap-meets-grandiose-pop sound, we think it'll surely be a radio hit.
