This remix features fellow Seattle native, Fences, who adds his soothing vocals to the remix provided by Ryan Lewis. Macklemore's vocals are re-recorded with the same lyrics. The instrumental is lead by slow moving piano chords that picks up with a kick drum that sounds like a big piece of aluminum being hit with a beater (It could of easily been a cool micing technique). But nevertheless its a great change up that adds to the emotion of this epic song. Not to be forgotten are the strings, guitar chords and vocal samples that add layers of texture to this beautiful remix. So go ahead and enjoy.
