With New Zealand artist MAALA, he's brought that with the release of brand-new single "Kind Of Love", his first since his stellar debut EP last year. Sonically, his first project was electronic-hued, downtempo, and atmospheric, making it quite an emotional listen. And while this still made for an incredible listen, it's not something you could say had pop appeal. With "Kind Of Love", we've something that can fit that latter billing, because what big hooks and expansive, thumping, energetic production it has, it's got wider appeal that anything he's released thus far.
