Ukrainian producer Ma7Hu is a completely fresh face in electronic to us, but he’s far from new to the beat scene he's a part of, as he’s been consistently dropping chillwave instrumentals over the past couple years, with “Hight” as his latest. Exposure might be the only downside in the Kiev-based artist’s endeavors, but that’s not halted the immense progress of his work over time, and “Hight” is no question his best effort to date. From the richly sampled female vocals that guide the piece throughout, to the nifty cuts from Rich Boy’s "Break The Pot", there’s no doubt Ma7Hu has crisp sampling techniques under his belt. Those aforementioned cuts would be meaningless without an engaging instrumental, and this one is immersive from the very beginning. It's packed with spacey progressions and beautifully accompanying, break-filled drum patterns that have us wholly intrigued.
