It is sometimes difficult to describe why an indie pop number hits strongly, but it just does, and you know it. M.T. Hadley's solo releases have been sparse over the years, but he seems to nail all of the best parts of the genre whenever he delivers a track. We hope that "Private Eye"—in tandem with "Rattle" from earlier this year—is a sign that more of his musical magic will soon be on the way.
