It almost feels like yesterday that we heard a remix from Phazz, but we would be the last to complain when he releases anything, honestly. Falcons, another producer affiliated with exciting remixes, recently took on M.I.A.’s "Yala", and now Phazz has decided to give the track a go, with the result again exceeding our expectations. Toning down the pitch of M.I.A.’s vocals, Phazz makes certain this remix is hefty from the get-go, dropping early Rustie-style synths and hard-hitting hats; and just when you get comfortable with M.I.A.’s accelerated vocals, Phazz’s spontaneity strikes again with an eye-popping drop that's incredibly glitchy and accompanied perfectly with the warped vocals.
