MAYA is the new album from M.I.A who has become a household name for her massive hit Paper Planes from her last album Kala. M.I.A is known for her progressive style of music and MAYA will continue that trend with some out of this world material. Most of this album goes over my head but there are some gems including Space, Tell Me Why, Internet Connection and the track below It Takes A Muscle. MAYA will hit itunes and stores on July 13th. On MAYA, M.I.A worked with her longtime collaborators Switch & Diplo with additional production from Blaqstarr, Rusko and Derek E. Miller of Sleigh Bells.
