Thanks to Trapdoor Records, we were introduced to LYLA back in December of last year, and that occurrence prompted our introduction post that saw us gush over her talents and feature five of her songs. And though 2014 has been moving at an incredible rate, we still haven't forgot about the UK vocalist. In the case that you have forgotten about her, though, you're lucky, because today we're happy to supply you guys and girls with the premiere of her brand-new single, "Getaway", that features production from SevnthWonder. Over a looping sample of Joe Sample's 1978 classic, "In All My Wildest Dreams", LYLA pays homage to the original with her angelic vocal tone as she sings with an astute conviction about her need to be loved in desirable ways. "Getaway" is the singer's debut track on Trapdoor Records, and with an EP dropping later this year, we've reason to anticipate more marvelous material of hers.
