As we were quickly reminded by Lykke Li's new album single, "No Rest For The Weary", the Swedish pop legend possesses one the most striking and powerful voices in music today. The only thing that's needed to create the hype for her new album, I Never Learn, is the music, and as we find out from the second-released track, "Gunshot", the magnitude of production value found not only matches her absolutely sublime vocals, but it adds to it in incredible ways. So if there was any doubt that I Never Learn was not going to be one of the year's best, "Gunshot", should silence those thoughts immediately. I Never Learn drops on May 5th.
