Yunizon Records just released a free compilation album filled with some great offerings from all of their artists, but this original from LUUUL featuring Amanda Roi is at least one or two cuts above the rest. It's composed like a piano-driven track, but the notes are synth-based, and the methodical beat add a darker tone to the whole thing which goes perfectly with Amanda's hollow vocals. The track sounds like it's being recorded in a a big, empty room, and the subtlety of the echo and reverb that quietly floats through the intro and chorus synch up perfectly. The download is free, so obviously this has got to get put on the shopping list, but on an even more basic level, this track needs a home in your playlist, because it just that well-made, plain and simple.
