If you're looking to unwind a bit as the weekend comes to close, then you'll adore the smooth sounds of "Blue", the third release from Australian duo, Lusinth. While both artists contributed to the production of the piece, Charlie Tait is the one responsible for the brilliant guitar work, and he's actually appeared before on Hillydilly under the name of Cambio Sun. John Cleworth, the other half, is the man behind the masterfully maintained drum beat, and together, they put forth one helluva gliding instrumental. At first, you might not catch the prowess with which the electric guitar is handled, but with an attentive ear, you'll surely pick up on the fluid melodies masterminded by Tait. In addition, there are multiple, gentle layers of guitar constantly overlapping, sending a euphonic haze throughout the sonic atmosphere. The song contains highs and lows, small journeys and short climaxes, but it still maintains a mellow vibe throughout, and it's this fact that makes it such a phenomenal release.
