Lupe Fiasco is the 2pac of our generation and it's time to realize this. Whether you agree with me or not, pay attention to what I am about to say. 2pac spoke the truth in his lyrics with no fear of what the establishment was going to do to his career because no matter what he had the support of millions behind him. While the ultimate end result was his tragic death, he never stopped speaking the truth. The same can be said with Lupe Fiasco today; he chooses to speak out against the hypocrisy of his government, false democracies, corruption and all the lies we are constantly fed from every angle of our compartmentalized societal structure. Lupe is an anomaly in pop music because the music industry at the very top is mostly full of artists who simply do what they are told and obey their superiors from the fear of losing money, popularity, power, or any other illusion they could be fed. Lupe obviously does not follow this path. He is backed by the almighty Atlantic Records who no doubt have a stake in this 'New World Order'. However Atlantic Records speak the language of money and there is no doubt that Lupe Fiasco makes a lot of money for them. So they have no choice with Lupe because shutting him up is not going to work when you are backed by a massive amount of fans who vote with their money. Lupe Fiasco is the most important figure in pop music today because he chooses to set the path for all of us who know exactly what is going on in the world today. A lot of us are scared to speak the real truth out of the fear that locks us into the system of mind. Whether it's the fear of what your friends/family/co-workers think of you, losing your job, or simply coming to the realization that this reality we have been fed to us since we have been little kids is one big fat lie. Lupe is here to help guide a mass of people and lead the way. It's inspiring and at the same time incredibly motivating for anyone who has been taking a trip down the rabbit hole. There is a monumental shift going on in the world right now that is shifting the way human consciousness perceives this reality. Are you going to be apart of this change or will you just dismiss this as conspiracy and watch the prison being built around you? There are plenty of ways to look into this on the internet, but the very first step is to understand that there is a war going on for your mind right now. If you find yourself reading this and getting mad, ask yourself why? I am not being racist or condescending. My point of view is not better than yours and this is not some new religion. We have been programmed since we have been little kids to trust the establishment and anyone who speaks differently gets branded as 'wacko'. The most important thing you could ever do for yourself is open your mind and start to look into these things because once you start to connect all the dots, the world becomes less confusing and you can start to take the power back and control your own life!! F&L2 ultimately ties into this massive change that is going on in the world right now and at the same time is an incredible record that should be regarded as his best album to date. The production is massive and the lyrics are extremely profound. Lupe's rhyming and writing is peerless and F&L2 is a soaring example of this. I think this album could be been cut down to 10-12 tracks to keep it more heavy on quality but regardless that is a minor thing here.
