A music blogger’s best friend is often their thesaurus. In order to quell the habit of regurgitating cliched words, they will frequently thumb the pages of their trusty companion in search of a suitable stand-in, but, other times, an adjective seems justified with no substitutes able to suffice. When describing Lully, an artist who is truly deserving of the qualifier "unique", we cannot more accurately use another word. Entering the scene earlier this year with “Slow D’s”, and following up with latest single “Sans Chapeau”, Lully's pop music is unlike any you’ve heard before. With an emphasis on the esoteric, the act once again plays with convention before finally allowing the arcane elements of this new track to fall, rewarding those who followed with another incredible release. That's exactly what this track is, too, and we don't think we'll be the only ones to catch on.
