I don't think I've ever been a fan of the R&B style that has seemed to captivate so many audiences. The music intrinsic to the wave is alright, I'll admit, but the elicited ambiances just haven't ever sat right with me; I've always been one to crave more upbeat affairs, most of the time. With that said, I'll always attempt to make room in my acoustical itinerary for spectacular voices and vibes, such as those possessed by the UK singer and songwriter, Luke Pickett. The individual released this impassioned "Wasted Dreams" single yesterday, and along with it came a faint knocking on the door of R&B stardom. There are obvious parallels to artists such as Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber, even, and there's no perceptible reason to think that, with his shining vocals and soulful falsetto, that Luke cannot enter the particular ranks of the iconic vocalists.
