This may be the first time we've covered Lucy Rose, but apparently she's been making waves all on her own. Her fantastic track here comes on the heels of two very successful EPs, and she's already accrued a massive following in the UK and the rest of the world with them. It's easy to see why, since music is accessible in much the same way a lot of your favorite pop music is, but rather than just settling for an overly basic composition, Lucy Rose opted to make "Cover Up" into something much more creative and captivating. Her voice is absolutely stellar on the track, so no complaints there, but especial props to her for not just relying on that natural talent to carry the song. Too many times singer-songwriters think they're going to get it done with a couple guitar chords and some golden pipes, oftentimes sacrificing a ton of quality in the process. It's apparent Lucy Rose knows what it takes to get people's attention, though, and with such a strong single as her latest release, we're excited to see what other efforts on her upcoming album mimic the charm.
