This Silent Rider remix is lighter than air, and we wouldn't want it any other way. The original was a masterfully composed track, but the way this Brooklyn-based act stripped away all the fat is impressive. The somber notes start to build a bit as the song progresses, but the track never loses sight of its objective, and it effortlessly propels you forward with synths that sound like wind instruments, and light percussion that keeps it grounded just enough so that the whole thing doesn't float away. Silent Rider has had some great re-works in the past, but the way they approached this remix is downright ethereal. With all the correct pieces, Lucius' "Turn It Around" had the potential for remix greatness, and Silent Rider has accomplished just that.
