One of the strengths of UK four-piece LOYAL is their ability to create dynamic worlds within each of their songs, all of which are meticulously built, layer upon layer, until their vision finally comes into focus. Each track is a journey, and with new single “Moving As One”, their first in nearly a year, this assessment rings true once again. The opening vocal and musical elements of the track are each incongruous at first, moving independently from one another before finally converging in with the rallying war cry that is “Moving As One”. It is also a rare, yet effective use of the song structure, itself, to emphasize the core theme that strength comes from unity. Perhaps we are just reading too much into it, but whether you enjoy digging deeper into the analysis of the track or not, the rousing third act is enough to enthrall any music listener, for sure. On the strength of all listed above, you'll want to make sure you check out "Moving As One" below. Hopefully, too, it won't be another year before we get new material from the act, but, even if it is, at least we can rest assured that they're material will again be great.
