We've got to give props to the independent artistic platform Arts & Crafts for sharing this gem of a remix by dd elle. It had appeared on one of our most recent SoundCloud excursions (and, as we see now, premiered on Pigeons & Planes), and, though a few days old, we think the absolute freshness of the sound will make up for the lack of initial coverage the effort's received (it's only 5,000 or so plays [as identified on the aforementioned audio platform] at this time). We've covered dd elle before, but this may be the producer's most unique work to date, and we're honestly overjoyed to be sharing it. It helps that Lowell's original is so fantastically exuberant on its own, but we'd be remiss to say that elle's additions couldn't have serviced it at least as well as the initial production. Quirkiness, enthusiasm, charm, nostalgia, and several other emotionally inclined sentiments come to blanket the elusive producer's interpretation of the track, and what once was a more boisterous affair (in Lowell's take) is now spirited, electronic-infused indie-pop bliss you'd be crazy to ignore.
