Few up-and-coming vocalists have us as excited about their work as Louis Mattrs does. After collaborating with the untouchable SG Lewis for one of the year's most seductively soft tracks in "No Less" and dropping off a spectacular single in "Superman", the British singer still has more in store for us with his upcoming EP sitting right on the horizon. Before he unleashes that full body of work, however, he's dropping off a cosmically alluring new effort from it entitled "WGW", which stands for "white girl wasted", spectacularly enough. As we've come to expect, Louis Mattrs' vocals are spot-on here, and they're especially great when he jumps up to his tantalizing falsetto. Cadenza is responsible for the track's spacey production, and 19-year-old Chicagoan rapper Lucky Eck$ is able to lay a smooth verse over it as well. "WGW" is certainly another stellar release from Louis, and we're betting there'll be a few more great tunes on his Slow Waves EP from which it is a part. Pre-order the project on iTunes now.
