The days of vapid pop are coming to end. There's still the kind destined for big audiences, of course, but, more and more, layers of authenticity are being expected from it. We'd always like to see more artists championing a genuine sound, but, for now, we'll enjoy those like Lostboycrow who are ahead of the curve. Already, he's shown that he's an artist to watch out intently for, and now with his MARØ, Brian Morrison, and Jon Castelli-produced track, "Powers", the Los Angeles resident has another top offering to call his own. There's no word on where this track will show up in terms of fitting into his catalog, but even as a standalone affair, Lostboy has reminded us why he's one serious contender in the genre he's currently sliding through.
