One thing we've noticed about Lorde's production on everything she's released with Joel Little so far is the way it has never gone over-the-top or been over-produced. Whether that's because it's what they were going for, or because they simply didn't have the same kind of budget this new Hunger Games movie soundtrack has, doesn't really matter, though. As we see with her Tears For Fears cover (that appears on the new Hunger Games soundtrack), the production is absolutely massive. With orchestral string sections, concert hall pianos, stadium guitars & epic percussion hits, it's safe to say this track was not recorded in some home studio. Truthfully, we love Lorde without the big production budget/sound, but since this is just a one-off, we're going to venture out with her on the particular endeavor. Check it out below.
