Lord Huron is a Los Angeles-based indie-folk act with a penchant for crafting disarmingly beautiful tunes, as evidenced by their excellent 2012 LP, Lonesome Dreams. Save for the occasional snippet of new music accompanied by visual "postcards" on their YouTube page, though, the band has more or less flown under the radar. All this changed just a few days ago, however, when Lord Huron unveiled a stunning new single entitled "The Night We Met". As suggested by the track's title, the song has a nostalgic, elegant feel that's tough to forget. Accompanied by gorgeous vocal harmonies and Lord Huron's signature instrumentals, frontman Ben Schneider's vocals sound even more powerful and wistful than ever before, and altogether, the track has us excited for Lord's sophomore LP, Strange Trails, that's due out later in the year.
